OK FB friends- how about a Habitat for Humanity video thats NOT one of my silly creations. My coworker, Cameron Ross, put together this wonderful video. Allow me to introduce to you my friend, Miss Sylvia. I met Miss Sylvia working on a home repair. She came out, propped her cane up on a sawhorse, and cut Hardiplank siding for a team all day. I ran into her again on the last two builds we did at The Avery subdivision with Delta Airlines. She was there most days providing hospitality and support. Though she satisfied her sweat equity requirements eons ago- she still comes out volunteering, facilitating and encouraging the volunteers and new home owners. She, and folks like her, are why we do what we do.
