OK FB friends and family. Heres the TRUTH about WHAT HAPPENED at WAYMONS DINER yesterday. Waymon Holt INVITED me over to his house for a spaghetti meal, since I was briefly in THE BORO. So, I went over and despite being 30 minutes LATE, (ON PURPOSE...gotta allow for that C.P.T.) he JUST STARTED TO COOK, once I was there. It was GOOD to see him after all those years. I did not realize it had been some 20 years since I last saw him at A&T Homecoming on Sullivan St. (an apartment that I was told by his friend, the lady in the photo) that he BROKE...LITERALLY BROKE in half! WTF!). ANYWAY, so I come inside; I was IMPRESSED by his interior decorating and upkeep. He was very hospitable; made sure I had a comfortable seat and could connect to the internet. And THEN I noticed, that he was COOKING WHOLE SPAGHETTI in a QUART SIZE POT! Have YOU EVER SEEN SUCH S..T (minimizing my profanity). But he ACTUALLY COOKED THE SPAGHETTI in a small QUART size pot. Anyway, I heard his lady guess SCREAM, as she discovered that his FRUIT & CANDY BOWL was GROWING SOME STRANGE COLORED OBJECT! So they DUG INTO THE BOWL, to find that the colored boy had LEFT AN ORANGE in the bowl for SO LONG; THAT LIKE OLD PEOPLE; IT TURNED GRAY! And when he actually TRIED to throw it out; again, LIKE OLD PEOPLE, IT WOULD NOT LEAVE! IT STUCK TO THE BOWL. WTF! IN THE END, everything, including the SPAGHETTI, which HAD NOT TURNED GRAY, was GREAT. He served me good food and his other guess all the booze they could drink and WE ALL ENJOYED A CONVERSATION/DISCUSSION/ARGUMENT (once they have finished drinking) concerning WILL COWS BITE and HOW MANY PEOPLE HAD BEEN KILLED BY BITING COWS??? That conversation MUST HAVE SET ME BACK AT LEAST 30 YEARS. But THATS PRECISELY WHY...EVERYBODY LOVES WAYMON! (thanks dude...)
