OK Folks, lets get something straight here. First, its a faux pass. Yes, he made a boo-boo but hes not the first Commander in Chief to do so. Second, he IS the Commander in Chief thus is under no obligation to return or even acknowledge the salute. remember back to your Basic Training (or Boot Camp if you called it that). Everyone is required to salute a superior Officer. The Superior Officer will or will not reciprocate, sometimes depending on their mood. They are not required to acknowledge persons of lower rank. Plus, arent there a few hundred other things with more importance than this to concentrate on? Starting with ISIS and Boots On The Ground?
