OK Friends.....heres the back story on my Profile Picture.... It was actually around 5 or 6 years ago, maybe more....it was in front of the Country Store (owned and operated by the LeSalle family back then) located in my Hometown of Huntington, Angelina County, Texas...Pop. 2,000 or so....lol The lady to my left is Francis LeSalle of Huntington. Back, ok way back, around 1990 or so she and her family took care of me and helped me kind of get back on my feet as it were...I had just come back home and was not the happiest of campers. I was hurt, banged up and had didnt have 20 dollars to my name. I have nothing, not even a promise to offer....yet, they saw something, someone different. I can tell you this wonderful, outgoing, outspoken, righteous, wonderful woman showed me a better way. A higher path to walk. She and her Husband, Jerry were both Deputies for the Angelina Co. Sheriffs Office and as I watched them work, live and try to scratch out a living, I began to understand what home and family really meant. Those were things I had either forgotten or distanced myself from in order to set out and do what I wanted to do. After all, I have been known to have a few walls around me and my heart. Well, God, Francis, her family along many others along the way...many of them here on my Page, have all pitched in at one time or the other. I have rarely had to stand alone in my life and when I did....if I fell, after a time, my Friends were there for me. I surly did not deserve all the help, all the second chances...yet, I am so eternally grateful for each and every one of them and for each and every person who had a hand in moving me forward to who I am and where I am today. Now, to sum it all up....I am not, nor have I ever been worth all the effort so many good and gracious people have put into my sorry but. However, in turn, I am eternally grateful they did. Ive had an awesome career and a pretty damn good ride on this roller coaster we all call life. Sure, there have been some steep dips and bumps, even thrown off the tracks a time or two.... Francis and all of you who read this, who for whatever the reason you saw a shred of something to believe in and save....I am forever grateful. You never, ever let me quit, give up or give in. I can never repay any of you for all I have received. Please know it is with a sincere and humble heart I truly with to say Thank you. I have never taken a step forward or backward without thinking of you all. There ya have it.....the back story of that picture freezing a moment in time. Me
