OK HOLIDAYS ARE OVER, Everyones going to run to the gym, hold up one second. Heres some helpful hints: Losing weight is 75% healthy diet and 25% Exercise. most important (in order) Macronutrients in our body Break down like this. #1 Protein 1 Gram = 4 Cal (its also the hardest one for the body to turn into fat) #2 Fat 1 Gram = 4 Cal Monounsaturated, Polyunsaturated, omega-3 fats, Saturated #3 Carbs 1 Gram = 9 Cal Carbs are none essential your body produces them on its own so you dont need to consume them, they are good for extra energy but really nothing else. Whats this all mean it? It means you need protein to live its also the most important as its the main building block in your muscles its also hardest for your body to store as fat, then Essential fats being second (way to much on fat to go into here Google it if you like) then carbs being last as you dont need them to live, unless you want extra energy due to hard training in the gym or your job. they are also the highest in calories.... and remember you would have to eat about 20 salads a day to get all the vitamins and minerals your body needs, so make sure and always take a multi vitamin at the least... Now go online and google good fats, carbs and proteins and create your own fun diet!! I didnt get into fitness so i could starve! I eat like a piggy and i eat yummy food !!!
