OK. Here it is. I try not to judge people because I have known people who have been down on their luck, to the point of homelessness. This situation, however, upsets me. I work in downtown Binghamton and park in the Boscovs parking ramp. This past summer I was walking to my car when a man stopped me with a story about his car breaking down on the way to get to his mother in laws in PA because she was in the hospital... Blah blah blah. I didnt believe him but I gave him the 8 bucks I had on me because he had a child with him. A week later, again walking to my car, I heard someone saying, excuse me, excuse me.... I turned around and it was the same guy. He started with the same story, realized hed already gotten me and took off. Fast forward six months or so to today. Im coming out of Sears at the mall. SAME GUY... same story only this time asking for money for a motel for the night!! Same woman and kid with him. Im all for helping people who need help but comeon!!
