OK, I complained about the price of bacon, but I didnt tell you how I get around it. This week Raleys has a whole Pork Shoulder Roast on sale for $1.99 a pound. I got one for about $13 and some change. Thats about 6 and a half pounds. I loaded it up with salt, and pepper, garlic, barbeque seasoning and pepper. Put it in a large purrex dish, and cooked it 3.5 hour at 350 degrees. Let it cool off, and then broke it apart by hand to remove the bone, and them put it into sections of two meals into sandwich bags, then put them in a freezer bag then into the freezer. Now I have instead of bacon, roast pork and eggs. There is always more then one way to skin a cat. Sorry Susan!
