OK, I have a few minutes for quick update on little Pink girlie - We went in for a re-check this morning, me figuring I was going to have to leave her for more tests & vet care - the vet was so pleased with her progress - she ate several small meals over the night & drank some broth - kept everything down & we were able to get her oral meds into her - the vet said her abdomen is 3000% better (yes, three thousand) - and she is able to be off her drip temporarily so I can get a nap in without worrying that she is going to chew her line :P - I will put her back on it in a little while - the scare of the bowel issue (wish I could recall the medical name) that her bowel was telescoping in on itself is over - that is not the problem - just a nasty bout of this coccidia - what a fright, but with wonderful vet support, support from close friends here & all of our friends on facebook sending up White Light, she is looking so much better and now we just nurse her back to the playful puppy that she always has been - THANK YOU ALL!!!
