Leeward Kaapana and Fran Guidry work very well with each other and have done a lot of stuff together. Lanikai Slack was composed live by Ledward Kaapana on the spot as this was being filmed, with Fran Guidry accompanying as best he could. Performed at Kailua Beach Park, by the entrance to the exclusive Lanikai neighborhood, where even rundown wooden homes can go for a million, while nicer ones can go for $5-6 million. When I stay in Kailua Town, we often go to Kailua Beach Park for picnics or evening sunset/moonrise dinners.
