OK...I know a lot of you are waiting for an update...so much has happened and I am seriously worn out lol. My dad is doing better. We went to his doctor last week and he said that the normal recommendation was to do more chemo. My dad does not want more chemo since the first just about killed him. I asked his doc what would it give him? Maybe 3 or 4 months than with out? He basically said yes and more than likely he would not have any quality. We all agree that chemo is out. He will continue with blood work and if needed blood transfusions but this will eventually stop helping and he is ok with it. Before he left the hospital, A person from my church ( Celebration Church ) visited him twice and he liked him so he invited my dad to church. I didnt say much because he has cut me off and would not talk about it. Well Diana asked him if he would go with us and he agreed (did the happy dance)!! Well the service was awesome and he enjoyed it!! I have hoped and prayed that he would get back to a relationship again with the Lord...I was in a service along time ago and God sent a message to us saying I have your families and your loved ones...pick up your cross and follow me. I had forgotten about this up until about 3 months ago. I bought a tape on that service and it was packed away. When I listened to the tape again I was reminded of that promise. When my dad was so sick when we almost lost him I brought that promise to God and I truly believe that is the reason he survived. I praise God and am so thankful! I give thanks to Glenn for visiting him in the hospital and thanks to Diana for her part in this. There is more but it can wait. Thanks for your prayers and please continue praying. xoxoxox
