OK, I might be hacking some people off, but, with having watched the first Crescent City NCIS episode, Im mostly OK with it. Yeah, they shoved tons of NOLA related references in it and Scott Bakulas accent is come and go, and it is better gone than present. But, Agent Lasalle is from Alabama, so his accent kinda sorta makes sense (southern drawl-ish, bit not totally identifiable to a specific area). They seem to be over-quaint-ing the whole thing, but, given how quirky New Orleans is and can seem to those who are not from here, I think they are doing as well as can be expected. Certainly, compared to much of the filmography that involves New Orleans, it is so overblown that it is just not tolerable. At least I can get it and am having fun with the show.
