OK.....I must confess.....I am VERY new to the topic of “homesteading”. So new, that I really didnt know what “homesteading” was until I joined this wonderful group. Having said that.....how do you do it? I mean, for those that are truly living off of their homestead, how do you.....pay taxes.....pay for medical insurance/auto insurance/property insurance.....pay for medical bills.....pay for emergencies.....pay for items that you cant “grow” on your property? How are you able to put anything back for the “what ifs”? How do you plan for the future (retirement age and etc.)? Not trying to be nosey.....Im just trying to learn! :) :)
