OK, I need some help with the script I am writing: there is a character who is a manipulative boyfriend. He is emotionally abusive. He never once lays a finger on his girl but this is the kind of relationship where the girl constantly feels like she is doing things which are bad because he has her so manipulated. But he is also very charismatic and most people like him. It is an ugly thing, the sort of thing that makes me really angry when I see it happen. So, I am trying to write lines and actions for this manipulative boyfriend to say and do but having a hard time making it believable.
