OK . . . I notice things and also know how a lot of things work. Many TV shows were shelved because I corrected them on something that even the craft service guy should have known about. In all the many spy movies, crime dramas, mysteries, and other similar productions where theres a guy whos trapped in a storeroom or something and decides to let people know hes there - by climbing on a chair with a match and making the sprinkler go off . . . well, the match isnt hot enough to melt the glass which then opens the way for the water to come out, but thats the only sprinkler that goes off - the others arent connected to it. If the heat from a fire is high enough the others go off individually - and the fire department isnt alerted either. A hammer or a piece of wood would do a better job of breaking the glass stopper thingy than holding a bunch of matches under it for an hour or so. I feel better now . . . I think Ill get a chicken burrito. :-)
