OK, IM GOIN OUT ON A LIMB HERE, (but isnt that what f/b is about?) Im trying to open up here, BE KIND :) Im starting an ONLINE/EVENT that involves Christmas & one of the best parts of Christmas: Christmas Music!!! I love Christmas music, dont you? Well, Ive given up on keeping Christmas activities till at least after Thanksgiveing, it just doesnt work in this world any more : ( Ill still be posting things about Thanksgiving (which is one of my favorite holidays), but time restraints dictate that I start now on this Christmas event! What is the event? Christmas Music!!! Tayored to Christmas Eve!!! At 7:30 pm! That is the day and time that Colleen & I got married in 1981!!! Christmas Eve has always been special to us! Its not only Christmas Eve , but it is also the day we got married and it is also her (late) mothers (Mary Russell) birthday!!! That makes it special indeed!!! How is it going to work? Im going to make a SPOTIFY playlist called: CHRISTMAS MUSIC 2014!!! If you dont have a Sotify acount......WHATS WRONG WITH YOU??? I do not recieve any benifit from promoting SPOTIFY, I just happen to think its the best thing for music lovers since recordings came into play! Its completely free & always will be if you set it up through you f/b account and live in the US. A couple of clicks and your in, just FOLLOW me and youll have access to it! Ill be posting (1) of the tracts that will be on the playlist every so often on my wall. Ive got to check the calendar & see what works best as far as how often? Youll recognize it by the title: CHRISTMAS MUSIC 2014!!! It will be a mix of several genres, something for everyone, but most importantly, it will be the BEST Christmas music you will here this season! I think it will result in about 20 tracks & I will post a video (if available) of each track on my wall in sequential order leading up to CHRISTMAS EVE @ 7:30!!! WHY SHOULD YOU DO THIS??? Its simple: Its a a SHARED EXPERIENCE!!! Its what the internet & online communties are all about!!! What could be more pleasing to share with your famity & friends than CHRISTMAS & CHRISTMAS MUSIC??? Ill include a little statement for each track on my wall explaining why it was selected. I hope you join in!!! Imagine for a moment, listening to some awesome Christmas music, at the same time other people are, on that magical night, knowing that your are sharing the moment with other people, at the same time (or there abouts) that you either know or or have been brought together by a special common interest!
