OK, Ill go out on a limb here. Picture of the staff at Jacks café, I believe on 8th street before the move to Hutchings Ave. Left to right (I think): Prebble Friend, Moreland(I cant remember her first name), Evon(sic) Rainwater, Juanita (Myrt) Baumann (My Mom), Irene Hamilton, Jack Hamilton. Always enjoyed lunch at Jacks. They always had comfort food, and plenty of it, Pies made by, I think, Jacks niece, and a huge BBQ Brisket plate. After the café moved to Hutchings Ave, All mom had to do was walk across the alley to get to work. She actually started when the café was on 8th St as a dishwasher. The first day she went to work, Jack called her Myrt, no idea why, but the name stuck and patrons, and a couple of my friends always referred to her by that name. Hope you all enjoyed these pictures.
