OK, Im game. Youll be sorry, Janet Burgess, for putting me to task! Was just given the #5.......I must now divulge 5 things about me you may not know: 1. I have the best family in the world! I have a wonderful son and daughter, an awesome grandson and his Mom, an older sister and brother, am saddened to have lost my other brother to ALS, and have super nieces, nephews, great-nieces and great-nephews!!!! I was blessed to grow up in a wonderful, loving family with many wonderful family gatherings..........thanks, Mom and Dad!! 2. You cant pay me enough to go over a bridge unless it has more than one lane each way so I can drive in the inside lane - fear of being edged off the bridge. But, I love bridges..........aint THAT quirky??!!! 3. Have been fishing only once in my life and ended up with a fishhook in my head - yep, THAT was fun! 4. Gardner was named Flag City 1967 because my poster won first prize in over 1 million entries in MA for the Flag Day Poster contest. I SO hated staying after school to work on the poster that I put the entire Gettysburg Address on it because they always say not to write too much on a poster......it won and I ended up having to recite the entire Gettysburg address by heart in front of the students of Holy Rosary School!!!!!! 5. My maternal grandmothers cousin was Lieutenant Governor of Quebec, Paul Comtois, who was killed in a fire at the Governors mansion when he ran back into the burning building to save the Blessed Sacrament from the chapel.
