OK, Im going to relent. I was going to not see the Mouses version of Into the Woods because I adore the original so much. And, well, for one thing, they put pants on the wolf. But, then I heard Chris Pine is playing the Prince. Dang nab it. And, they kept it to a PG (not G) rating, which bodes well. And, reviews say its not dumbed down. So, this is me going. IMO, this is the only fairy tale mash-up that works, in part because Sondheim did it first almost three decades ago, and its about story and hard truths, not personalities.
