OK, Im still learning the color changer. I have a KHC 820 color changer on a Brother 930 machine. I have it working but I am not succeeding at getting Fairisle to work. It says to move the yarn in the sinker plate from A to B, and to take the main yarn out of the color changer. Then move the needles out to E, do the settings and move the carriage from right to left past the marker and into the color changer. Then knit. But it drops the work off the needles - like the yarn did not feed into the needles. See in the photo that the yarn under the sinker is to be pulled to the right. But I do this and the yarn does not stay down there it goes back to the left and side of the sinker. So does Fairisle work with the main color in sinker plate B spot, while the extra colors go in and out of the color changer? Or should the main color go back into the color changer?
