OK Memphis Peeps, Im in need of a place to rent for about 10 to 12 hours on a Saturday, with multiple meeting rooms and one big main room, plus kitchenette at minimum, real kitchen preferred. Thats of course because we would be coming in and cooking our own food - which would also have to be allowed as part of the rental. The more cinder-block walls and concrete floor the better; not looking for a luxury banquet hall, more of a Rec Center. Im absolutely looking at the Community Centers up for rent by our beleaguered county gov, but Im also quite willing to talk to any competitively priced facility, be it church, meeting hall, etc. etc. The price to beat is $75 per hour. Other criteria is that it must be inside the Memphis general area. Wed go as far as Olive Branch, or Cordova, but thats a stretch. Gotta keep it centrally located. Planning for a date more than one year from now, btw, which may sound really far off in the distant future. Experience has proven, however, that its not at all too early to talk about it now.
