OK QUESTION... HAHA Taking care of your flinter, boomstick, thunder gun, or whatever you call it. Im curious to know what you do. When you give your flinter stock a good oil, do you soak it and let it sit to soak in? Or do you just wipe it down real good? Or do you wipe it down then dry it off right away? AND after the oil do you rub it down with wax or grease to help protect it. I stained my flinter last night, today I gave it a couple coats of boiled linseed oil, the stock drank it up, so I soaked it in a good amount of oil and Im letting it soak in.
