Apart from that, however: What in Gods name is that man doing in the Republithug Party?! And more broadly, what in Gods name do Libertarians see in the Republithug Party?! The Republithug Party of the modern day is the precise opposite of liberty and libertarianism. The Republithug Party of the modern day wants to restrict individual liberty as if it were a rabid dog. Jump ship, Rand! You were talking to a mostly Democratic audience when you were on Bill Mahers show. You, almost uniquely to representatives of your party on that show, drew applause. Repeatedly. The Republithug Party is no place for you. Now, you occasionally veer into the truly bizarre, not to say idiotic, and I dont know that you would do much better in the Democratic Party as a potential presidential candidate. But you want to end American empire, you are prepared to admit that there are human causes to climate change, you believe that George Bush the Younger and the Dumbers Great Adventure in Iraq was a colossal mistake. And above all you are for ending the inane drug war that has been raging ever since Nancy Reagan gazed into the eyes of her astrologer and declared just say no, and her husband said OK, honey. You do not belong with the Republithugs. You really dont. You dont even belong with the turtle who is your fellow senator from Kentucky. Switch sides, Rand. Take a few other Republithug senators with you. A switch from the Republithugs to the Democrats flipped the Senate once. It can be done again. Peace!
