OK, Republicans. Now is your chance to show the rest of us that your policies will actually work. The economy has been improving steadily for the past 60 months. Lets see it take a huge leap. Equality issues have been addressed in state after state. Lets see you further the work of awarding every American dignity and equal rights. Women are serving in government in higher and higher numbers. Lets see you continue to treat them as equal partners by enforcing equal pay for equal work laws. Our education (particularly in Texas) needs to become a priority. Make sure your privatization ideas do not disenfranchise the poor. Now that thousands and thousands of people have health insurance for the first time, you have the chance to improve that system. You now can do something to make the insurance racket be more of a service to the people, or you can take it all back and dump those families right back in the hole they were in before the Affordable Care Act was upheld by the Supreme Court. Youve been saying for the past few years that if you were in charge, the world would be a better place. Now is your chance to prove it.
