OK. Tonight was a bit of a make it up as you go along but Im sharing because it was so good. First Tom prepped the veg. Broccoli (small florets), onion (finely diced), and carrots (julienne). Plus garlic (lots). Then he cut up chicken breasts into thin (1/2) strips. He sautéed the veg in 50/50 butter and olive oil. Then he did the same with the chicken and put it all back together. Added pesto, generously. Next he made a sauce by melting butter, adding flour, black pepper, salt, and a little paprika. Then milk to get a thick sauce. Mixed this with the meat and veggies. Cooked penne to al dente, and tossed it in butter. Added the above. Combined everything, served with parmesan on top. SHOOT ME NOW. This was excellent food.
