OK... Unbias Recap time... First off... for anyone that wasnt at the battles tonight... You missed a damn good night of battles. We only had two battles (well get into that in a minute) but those two battles were just enough. If this is a precursor to whats finna take place later this month... then man... you DO NOT wanna miss that event. First off... Allen SouthSide Mcintosh vs. Relentless... Personally I got Relentless 3-0. Southside came and did his thing like usual... but Relentless came in like he wanted the win more... and the way he kicked off the entire night of battles.. he caught everybody off guard with that one, including myself... now THAT was a very creative way to start a round in a battle. Also, he rebuttled every round... something a lot of battle rappers fail to realixe thats what can swing momentum back into your favor... Relentless... you more than welcome to come back and rock with us on the battle tip... and good luck to you on your deployment in Feb. From one soldier to another... make it back safe. Second... Tj Byrd vs. Tello Bandz Harper... MAN... BATTLE OF THE NIGHT!!!! For two people first time doing an actual battle... yall went at it like battle vets. I gotta rewatch the footage to call a winner personally but personally I dont think I can. TJ... you were spitting a lot of things that were going over the crowd head... but I caught all of it and it hit hard to me. Tello... bruh... bruh bruh... you went the eff off. Bars and performance were on mad point. I couldnt find anything negative from either one of yall in that battle... and bonus points for not choking... or letting the crowd rattle you... a lot of people get on stage for the first time to battle and let the crowd or their nerves get to them... and yall held your own very well. Salutes to the both of you... Cerius Barz was supposed to battle Getembo Bargang Douglas but Bobo didnt show up because of an issue with the battle. I am not gonna downtalk or crap on another battler because I dont like it when others do that to me... however... if the reason you didnt come was because of a money issue... thats something you should have discussed with Bars and Canny BEFORE the battles were booked. Once you accept a battle... unless its something major... you see it through. Not showing up period kinda hurts you in the long run with a league... especially if you were getting booked by that league. Also not saying that you arent entitled to your request... Thats a legit reason to not battle... but thats something you shouldve got situated before today... or if you knew you werent gonna do it... then tell the promoter so that he can make the announcement. Also... wanted to take time and tell all of the battlers who been saying my name, sending shots at me in they battles, and to tell EVERYONE that has been asking me when the next time I will be battling and want to see me battle again... thank you. Its an amazing thing to know that even though I dont actively battle anymore... that I still have my spot and my respect (or disdain... depending on who you talk to) in the battle world. It means a lot to me to know that yall were actually noticing all of the work that I was doing while I was active... and that a lot of you still wanna battle me. I retired from the active battle circuit... but who knows... I may come back just to do it for fun (keyword: maybe) Welp... gotta go to sleep. Military obligations in the A.M. Night folks.
