OK.....WE HAVE DECIDED THE DATE WILL BE JULY 6th AND WILL HAVE A HOLIDAY WEEKEND FAMILY BBQ AFTER....BUT NEED A FIRM BOAT COUNT SO WHO WANTS TO SHOOT OTTAWA ON THE ^th? LOOKING FOR A BOAT COUNT FOR A NEW SHOOT! OK, as the grass lake shoot has been canceled we are looking to see if anyone has interest in a shoot on saturday June 29th or July 6th out of Allen Park, Ottawa. This will be the new AMS Shoot and we will award a bow combo to the person who brings in the largest.....? The shoot will be a big species shoot, kind of a runner up to the Directors shoot where you will weigh the largest fish in the following species; Grass Carp Silver Carp Bighead Carp Common Carp Buffalo Gar One fish per species can be entered. And at the end each species named will be entered into a hat and the one drawn will win the bow reel combo. Entry will be $25 or $15 for supporting members. Will also have an optional Big Fish pot. If there is enough interest in the next day we will call this the AMS Illinois River Species Championship and will keep it as a yearly shoot. Not enough interest we will try somewhere else. So.....who wants to shoot Ottawa?
