OK,Well the storm is here. We got caught in the hardest rain storm I have ever been in. We were taking pictures of the surf crashing into the rocks under the lighthouse when all of a sudden it hit. It felt like someone hitting you with rocks it came on and hit so hard. Wind came up as well and as I tried to make my way to the truck wind was blowing me the other direction, it was all we could do to make it the 30 yards back to the truck and we were drenched by the time we got there. Before we left the 5th wheel I had to build a land bridge using gravel just to get to the truck. When we got back it is the only dry ground around the 5th wheel. The big winds are not expected till this evening tho. We did see some downed trees on the way back and lots of branches on road as well. The surf was incredible to watch and hope to see more tomorrow.
