OK, as you are probably aware, the SILIBAGZ kickstarter is not going all that well. This being my first one, that may not be too surprising- i have learned most everything thru trial and error-oi vey! I am selling about 450 bucks of bagz a day, which is pretty good, especially with no marketing, but people have questioned why the goal is so high (150k), so i thought i better explain. Well to be honest, this is a very low goal, and does little more than cover my costs on a production run (i could even end up holding the bag on tax). Minimum production run is 10,000 units, and with tooling cost too, its pretty much a break even number without even paying back R&D, so scaling back the goal would be self defeating (i was originally hoping for 250k, as that would leave me with most of the bagz spoken for which would reduce warehousing costs and leave a little in the kitty). As it stood, if i met my goal, i would be selling 5k bags and giving away 5k bags, which is why i noted this was really only feasable with kickstarter or indiegogo, just not feasable with a retail partner until I get a larger run which would bring the price down. Anyhow, it is what it is, and i intend to continue plugging away altho it might make more sense to shut it down and try again with a propper marketing campaign, however i am concerned that the 1for1 and the handmade clasp may only be a dream if i dont get this thing off the ground with u and me calling the shots. peace n luv yall https://youtube/watch?v=9yJE1iiO0qI
