OK, despite the step backward, I am shaking as I write this information from the doctors walkthrough from his Mom...are you ready? Dr. Price said: Everything looks fantastic - numbers, electrolytes, kidney function. Theyre switching his pain meds to help with the nausea! Now, let me take this a step further because I think I may just finish writing this and then run outside and stand on the rooftops and shot this next part: ZAK WALKED 2 LAPS TODAY, not even stopping on the second lap.....but wait!!!!! this is the one that makes the tears flow for me - The physical therapist that was walking with him asked how far he could walk before the transplant while they were walking the first the lap....and Zak took a moment, realizing I think, what he was about to say....I would have had to stop already!!! He then proceeded to continue through the second lap around the floor. Yall, I just wish you could see the sparkle in his eyes as he realized he just accomplished something he couldnt do since he was 4 years old!!!!! OMG, OMG, OMG!!!!
