OK dog people, does anybody have any supplements, topicals, or any other suggestions to help a dog with hair regrowth and overall coat health? I have used a variety of different products for Riot but his coat continues to worsen and now he has hair loss (several big patches). Here is the weird thing, he doesnt chew on himself and skin isnt inflamed, irritated, its literally his coat thats the problem. He has had a complete thyroid panel, skin scrapings, checked for a variety of parasites and other blood work to no avail. I will be making an appointment with a dermatologist but am wondering if anybody has something that has worked for them in the past. Please note, I have tried coconut oil, salmon oil, fish oil, vertex, show stopper. Ive also tried medicated baths with a variety of different shampoos. He eats whole prey model raw as do all my dogs. They get good variety but do eat grocery store bought meat although recently have switched him to more wild game in the hopes that would help. He gets a decent amount of fatty foods and I did at one point up his fat intake to address the problem also to avail. Will to try just about anything at this point to help. Luckily he isnt uncomfortable no chewing or irritation but his coat just looks horrible and now with the bald spots I dont know what to do to help
