OK, family ... heres the update on my professorial debut. It was WONDERFUL. I felt all the prayers and well-wishes and even the scolding (in the form of a preached word) from Linda Mootry-dodd, who certainly put me in my place. Thank you for giving me the encouragement and shove that I needed to get through the first class. As I was driving home, I was thinking Wow, that wasnt bad at all!! I was warmly welcomed by other faculty members, and well-received by the students (hope that continues as we get into the REAL work). I love you all and am so grateful that God has chosen each of you to be a part of my village. So much of what I am today is because of who you are. Thank you, thank you, THANK YOU!!!!
