OK folks like Kurt Scholle Karon Thackston Christine Cobb Marnie L Pehrson sure enough my barely-two-year-old Tosh has a bad hard drive. Im shopping. Ive had an HP laptop before and the thing ran SO hot it actually melted my desktop. Otherwise I liked it. What brand would you go with? Toshiba again? HP and burn up? Dell? Anything else? Please those of you who are Apple cultists do not reply. I already have a MacBook Pro on which I am currently typing. It wont run some of the software I use so I have to run both platforms. All recommendations appreciated. How about you Lynn Terry? You run PC, I think. How about you Robert Scardamalia??
