OK folks, we need some help here. The Chipin is filling up very slowly. We are getting worried that we wont be able to pay the Vet bill on this family. We did not let the Mom suffer or die in the shelter. She had a very serious emergency and we got her the help needed. Please help us or we will be unable to help out in emergencies. We stepped out in faith knowing that we would have support for them from our friends. We had an emergency situation at the shelter over the weekend. We had a pregnant Mom who was really in distress. Something did not seem right about the situation. The Shelter Manager asked if we could raise the money to take her for a Vet exam. We said, Of course. Thanks to her and her helper, we were able to save the Mama and 14 pups. Mom ended up having an Emergency C-Section. She had uterine issues and pups stuck in her birth canal. It was a very tedious and stressful surgery. All 4 vets at the office were working to save her and the pups. Her uterus and insides were a mess. So, they went ahead and spayed her while they were in there. The pups were all given oxygen and whatever immediate medical needs they all had were met. Everyone is doing wonderful now. We got them off to a foster. But, we need help paying the bill. We could not let them die in the shelter or go back there. Please help us out with the medical expenses.
