OK, friends, since you have shown that you enjoy the Word for the Day acrostics, lets expand on the concept. We played a game during our afternoon church service one week that was quite invigorating. Instead of using a word for the day to convey a principle, lets find Bible verses that begin with the particular letters. This will be a little more challenging, but it will get us searching the Scriptures. Be sure to look for hidden messages in my word choices over several days beginning this Thursday. My word is, JESUS. J-udge me, O LORD my God, according to thy righteousness; and let them not rejoice over me. (Psalms 35:24). E-very day will I bless thee; and I will praise thy name for ever and ever. (Psalms 145:2). S-urely goodness and mercy shall follow me all the days of my life: and I will dwell in the house of the LORD for ever. (Psalms 23:6). U-nto the upright there ariseth light in the darkness: he is gracious, and full of compassion, and righteous. (Psalms 112:4). S-tand fast therefore in the liberty wherewith Christ hath made us free, and be not entangled again with the yoke of bondage.(Galatians 5:1). Now its your turn. What are your verses?
