OK guys, As you know, we recently moved. It has been my intention all along to move things into this house one thing at a time and really focus on making it HOME. It makes the garage a little full, and sitting at the table on a cool box or lawn chair a little hard from time to time, but its slowely coming together and I fall inlove with our home more every single day. Today, Chalk Culture made one of my visions come to life and I truly can not thank her enough!!!! How it all began: 5 years ago, two of the most amazing people in my life, (My grandparents Terry Forgham and Jeanette Forgham) bought us our first ever bedroom set. We took our time with picking and absolutely LOVED the decision we made. 5 years and one move later.. the set has seem better days, the top of the dresser and both night stands were chipped, stain was missing, and to be honest, the color had grown old on me. I didnt really want to get rid of it, due to sentimental reasons... but I certainly didnt want to take it as it was to this gorgeous new house... So I found Chalk Culture by chance one day and shot her a message. I had NO IDEA what I wanted done, but she gave me a quote on all 5 of the pieces I had some kind of vision for and I was MORE than impressed with her extremely reasonable prices!!! So, on the move day, she allowed us to drop my things of at her home and waited for me to come to her with a vision. I still wasnt sure, so she came over with samples, and advice and sold me on a RISKY to me idea, but I was excited at the thought of it!! If you know me.. Im always afraid of make decisions that im scared of regretting, but Im telling you, Chalk Culture knows her stuff and she was very reassuring and very confident. Not only that but she said, Rebecca, Its only color, its not permanent if you dont like it She sent me pics as she worked on it and I grew more and more excited!! Well.. TONIGHT my new piece came home!! ISNT IT INCREDIBLE!! I am so in love with it.. I took about 20 pics of it and just want to sleep beside it tonight LOL! SO!! Show this local lady some love, whether you have something to re finish or not, its worth liking her page! She does refinishing jobs but also sells the paint she uses!! I think she deserves a bit of recognition for the amazing work she does !! GO HIT LIKE ON HER PAGE:) A whole new reason now to throw out or give away old furniture!
