OK guys, the fur meets begin tomorrow and its come to my attention that a lot of people still have questions. Please read this post as it will answer a lot of them! Firstly, about the Pocatello Zoos hours. Im getting a lot of messages from concerned furs that we will only have an hour at the zoo before it closes. This is not the case! On the last Friday of every month the Zoo stays open late, until 7:30PM and this is confirmed on their site. We will have two and a half hours at the zoo! But if you want to come earlier, you can, if youd rather play it safe. How many of you intend to come earlier? The second thing is that theres some confusion as to what were doing and when. I recommend clicking See More on the event post pinned to the top of this page so that you can read the schedule, directions, list of trip costs, etc...all of it is laid out there to help you guys know where well be and when. But in summary....Friday is Pocatello Zoo followed by dinner on 1st street, Saturday is our all-day event in Lava Hot Springs, and Sunday we meet at 10:30 at Dennys in Pocatello/Chubbuck, then head to a Sunday matinee movie as a group, followed by dinner! If you need lodging in Pocatello I recommend the Ramada as it is cheaper than most places, but safer and nicer than a Motel 6! Be sure to watch the group during our meets for any possible changes, including a restaurant selection for Sunday night! Id like to open this thread up to any questions you may have.
