OK here is the first demo reel up for grabs. This is a killer ABU 5500 MAG-X C5 on an AKS levelwind cage. This reel started as a used Mag Elite I had shipped over from the UK. The right side is a Mag Elite with 6.3:1 gears. 4 slot pinion with NEW rocket reel co universal 2 pin brake!. The left side is off an ABU mag-x with the ABU magtrax braking system. The ball bearing cog wheel has an upsized 2.5mm shielded bearing as opposed to the standard 2mm bearing in most cogs. The 2.5 performed better than dual unsheilded 2mm bearings. This also has the C5 ball bearing levelwind worm gear. Spool is a new AKS tourno spool. Handle and star are NEW AKS. Reel was just serviced and the new handle and spool were installed. Super smooth and fast reel on the rock solid AKS cage. The reel is used and there are handling marks and dings-most are too small for the camera to show. This reel was used in developing my MAG-X/ELITE hybrids and the 2.5mm cog bearing upgrade. Reel is super smooth and FAST. To build a new one would be impossible since the green Mag Elite AND the MAG-X have been gone for quite some time. The AKS cage was new but there are small dings here and there-nothing major. Reel was used for testing for about a year. To try to build a new one would be over $500 IF it could be done. This one is for sale at $275 plus shipping. This is the only one like it and the only one at this price. I ship worldwide!
