OK, if, BIG IF, I was to run for the 140th PA District for State Legislature, Would anyone out there help me with campaigning, running fund raisers, etc? I would be on the Libertarian or Republican ticket. Reason being, in the article below, you will see that only 11% of PA residents believe our state legislators are doing their jobs properly. This is a disservice to the residents of our Commonwealth. I am a descendant of one of the founding families of PA and I am quite sick of what our legislators are doing to the residents in so far as killing our education funding, giving tax breaks and incentives to "fracking" companies when we see that it does nothing but kill local wildlife and make our residents physically ill, the outsourcing of our lottery, and the ignorance of our legislators towards our residents and what WE want. I am a far cry from a Democrat, as well the incumbent is one, so I am left with little option. I have a more conservative spending view, yet believe those in need should not be ignored, they should be assisted in bettering themselves and their families. If I need to leave the Libertarians and join the Republican party to make a difference for the residents, I will. However I will not vote party line when called, I will vote on what is BEST for the residents in my district and in PA as that is who I am there for, not the governor, not corporate/business, not my party affiliation. I am there for our residents. Please read the following article carefully, and let me know if you would help me in my run for office. We need change, we need it NOW.
