OK, its official. Neil deGrasse Tyson is a big phony. So were supposed to respect scientists--but not doctors? Popularizers of science have always had their weak points, and some of the ones I like best (Asimov, Feynman) have also held some sketchy ideas. But the Tyson rant recorded here is ignorant, arrogant, and shows no grasp of science. I get the point hes trying to make about miracles, but its hardly new, and he bungles it so badly that he ends up implying that the only alternative to believing in medical miracles is to believe that doctors are dumb. What the hell?
