OK, just got off the phone with an Avon customer who has epilepsy. I knew her in HS days, it was not apparent then. Someone is harassing her via phone. I normally have such a hard time understanding her that I have her write down what she wants, she calls my cell and I pick it up and order it. Tonight, she was feeling afraid and was quite articulate. Gave her the best advice I could and asked her to think about getting a service dog for protection on top of making sure the doors and windows are locked, shades closed and keeping a self defensive weapon on hand (baseball bat, hockey stick, large knife). She assured me that the neighbors know and she has called the police about it. I asked her to make sure she keeps all the messages this loser is leaving and keep a diary of the harassment. But most importantly, I stressed the need for a service dog. Cowards who call and harass are very afraid of large dogs... statistically speaking... I think that if this gal could say the words, she would have told him to F off a long time ago. She cant, so he seems to be escalating the harassment. What the hell is wrong with people?
