OK ladies I want to talk about Ray Rice. He has been suspended from the NFL for life which will cost him tens of millions of dollars for hitting his then girlfriend, knocking her unconscious, and then dragging her down the hall to his cave. After this little incident she decided to marry him. OK, is this the new way of proposing? At this point I get lost. Why would any woman marry a man that had previously knocked her out and dragged her to his room? Remember that the punishment now affects her also due to the loss of income. What kind of a message is this sending to your sons and daughters or grandchildren. Have any of you talked to the kids about this? What do they think. I will bet they know about it. I remember a hard spanking for hitting a cousin who had slapped me. The spanking was given if front of the girl and It is hard to act tough when you are crying and begging them to stop. As far as I can remember I never hit another woman except to spank the kids on very rare occasions. How about you Megan, what do you think about this? Talk to your mom and Dad about this.
