OK. last one for me....Iam SO old skool Dallas, that I remember when Beamers night club was on Skillman and NW Hwy, Maxs 403 Club on Greenville, where they served a drink called the Quaalude (it was orange and served in a test tube!), and when we used to take a field trip: with Mr. Edwards (teacher at St. Peters) to Good Luck Hamburgers. We would walk down there as a class and have our lunch! He was the only Black man I recall that taught at the school! Ha! Former St. Peters folks, yall hear me?
