OK, let me start off by saying that Phil Hendrie is a guy Ive listened to on his various radio shows for years...and hes drunk as hell in this. BUT...on Veterans Day, lets take a moment to recall just how much of a total badass Daniel Inouye was before he became Hawaiis most beloved Senator. Hawaii in World War 2 was like Fresh Hell...and out of its fire and brimstone, death and destruction, racism and prejudice... walked a man so tough losing an arm couldnt stop him. The true measure of a man is how much his loves his non-Native land as much as he loves his own... and America FEARED him for being a bit too Japanese. That didnt stop him from becoming a legend in war and politics...Daniel Inouye was a rare mix of hero and badass rarely seen since. Thanks to all that serve from the 50th state.
