OK, maybe Im just being a paranoid lunatic, but check this out. Oh, and notice the other two tabs that were open at the time I received this message(the first tab is a video from The Young Turks on YouTube entitled NSA Spying Tricks Include Fake Facebook - Tool Or Weapon? and the next tab is the Wikipedia page on Big Brother from 1984. Now Ive only looked at a handful of links regarding this post, but the most interesting one I came across so far was from Thedrum entitled Facebook apologises for requesting users login with Government ID. It says that a spokesperson for FB contacted TheDrum, saying, “Yesterday, we showed an account verification message to a very small portion of our users unnecessarily. We promptly removed the messages when we discovered the error. Were sorry for any inconvenience we may have caused.” Heres the trippy part: the article was dated October 29, 2013. So obviously they werent too sorry, and the small portion of users is still continuing to grow to this day. If anyone finds any more recent, relevant information regarding this before I do, Ill gladly admit that Im just being a paranoid nutjob. Oh, and I accidentally erased the URL before I took the screenshot, but it was indeed, as far as I could tell, a genuine FB URL(starting with https://facebook). Oh, and I had just finished posting one of my notorious giant paragraphs masquerading as a YouTube comment, which Ill post below. If nothing else, its a VERY interesting coincidence. Oh, and Id really appreciate it if anyone who finds my theory interesting or potentially valid in any way would share this post. Again, I dont know at this point if theres any validity to my claim here, but Id love some input.
