OK now Im going to go you one better in the controversy department. Short and simple. I dont think a man should ever hit a woman. Thats a big thing with me. That said, I dont think a woman should hit a man either. Do I think Ray Rice should have just restrained her... Yes! But neither do I think that one; she should have run across the elevator to his side hitting and spitting on him,or two that thisis the first and last time they will BOTH participate in a drunken sceen. But more than any of these, she Married him and is defending him. At that point the book should thave closed on the whole thing. The two days Goodell gave him was enough. Now Rice is being crusified by the mouth breathing press ,and giving Goodell a second opportunity to do a make good with his critics. Political correctness has gained another victim. It also gives people who call every black guy that has a problem with bad publicity a thug and makes them feel good that they got the black guy. Just being a tough commissioner doesnt make you a good commissioner. Laying in the bushes and catching someone in the privacy of their own home, or personal and/or business conversation ,being politically incorrect, is not journalism. It is an ambush. Someday this all going to back fire on the people who have used their bully pulpit for sanctimonious public lynchings ,of people whos only sin is a mis spoken word ,or an action even tho wrong ,is always punishable by death of your carrer, or loss of your business. I believe Ray Rice is a scape goat and lightening rod by the media.
