OK, on the second show now and its actually funnier than the pilot, so a plug for Alpha House on Amazon Instant. As someone has probably said many times, there is nothing John Goodman is not good in, and also a gesture of respect to Garry Trudeau. The first episode was rather heavier on the we can say the F bomb than the gags, but the second is already trending toward character-based humor, slow burns, and a slight sense of Gervaisian awkward-witness humor. Im adding to my current rotation. (The first four eps are free, after that you pay.)
