OK peeps.... Just to clarify.. .. YES my sons name IS Auburn and NO, we are NOT Auburn University fans.... lol this has to be our most frequently asked question;) I named him before I even had a clue what a touchdown was! I had mentioned it to Allen( thinking of colors) and he was like NO WAY (because of the football team) Although he did think it was a nice name.... well shortly after I had fell on LOVE with the name, my die hard GA fan husband was watching the game AU vs UGA.... so I decided to make a deal.... IF Auburn won that would be our sons name (to me it was already his name!) So he agreed thinking GA was going to win.... WELL AU won by ONE point! So I got the name I loved! And I do have to say that it is pretty comical when he is on the ball field and all of these GA fans are screaming GO AUBURN in their GA gear;) and my goal is pretty much holding great as well.... with the last name Walker I wanted uncommon names for my kids .... not many people here will name their son Auburn;) so my favorite name is pretty much HIS;) anyway after a few comments this week O figured I would just give the background on how my son got his awesome name;)
