OK people lets get organised for Friday. Firstly , the Robin 2 is situated at 20-28 Mount Pleasant Bilston (WV147LJ) , its a turning on the main A41 drag from Wolverhampton to West Bromwich. Tram stop you will need is Bilston Central. Most mainline buses , in particular the 79, stop by this junction. If you are driving from West Brom , turn right at traffic lights into Mount Pleasant , you will see an Indian restaurant on your left (India gates). The Robin is about 200 yards further on left. Turn immediately left into Mountford Lane. There is a large patrolled car park about 200 yards on left. I would say this holds around 100 cars. Whatever you do , if this is full , dont drive past and use the old overflow car park a bit further down on left. This is now owned by an NHS trust and you will get in trouble. If full , turn around , and there is another car park (free) by Bilston PoliceStation in Princess Street (WV147DT). To get to this , go back up Mountford Lane, turn right into Mount Pleasant. Left at lights, over little island and then right before big island. You will see police station in any case on your right. There is other back street parking dotted around Mount Pleasant. Right ...drinks!! Someone suggested the Sir Henry Newbolt which I think is a good idea. A Wetherspoons pub located at 45-47 High Street , Bilston (WV140EP). If any of you want to catch up pre gig I will be in there mid to late afternoon. There is the usual Wetherspoon fayre on offer , plus drinks are quite cheap. If anyone has a preferred pre Robin watering hole please shout up. If not see you there my brothers and sisters.
