OK, second-hand Phoni Joni story. According to my informant, an employee of a well-known local eatery in the Drake University neighborhood: On election day a caller known only as Sarah called to make reservations for 32 the next day, Wednesday November 5. According to the informant, after 10 AM on the appointed day a party of 35 arrived! It was Phoni Jonis entourage. The informant added that even without the Phoni Jonis entourage of 35 the eatery was very busy already. The informant said many in Phoni Jonis party were rude and overbearing. Then a local TeeVee news crew showed up unannounced. News crews at this particular eatery were no an unusual event, however the staff was usually informed by the local television stations a new crew was arriving at such and such a time. This time it was a surprise. The news crew even made customers not with Phoni Jonis party vacate a booth for an interview. According to the informant Phoni Jonis party even interfered with other customer trying to enter the establishment, at which point the manager had had enough and informed Phoni Jonis handlers the party had overstayed its welcome. Well, the apparatchik said, according to the informant, youre just kicking us out because of your politics!
