OK, since tomorrow is the SIX YEAR anniversary of my move to Minnesota, sure, Ill play the Im so game. But Im playing Im so St. Louis AND so Minnesota! Leh go!!! Im so ST. LOUIS I know about C&K, Mammer Jammer, Lewis Snack Shop, Billy Burks, and London & Sons when it was on Delmar!!! Im so MINNESOTA I know what its like to say 20 degrees really aint that cold! Im so ST. LOUIS that I had a night time visitors pass to the Cabanne Courts -- GANGSTA!!! Im so MINNESOTA that I remember when Bellanote was the spot and 7 actually played hip-hop music on a FRIDAY and welcomed a largely diverse audience! What, not how the game is played? Oops, my bad. Im so ST. LOUIS I remember when Viva was the Links Club and Wednesday it was Reggae at Will and Sundays the spot to be was Kennedys on the Landing for Mystic Voyage! Im So MINNESOTA I remember when GABBYS CRACKED EVERY THURSDAY & FRIDAY!!! Im so ST. LOUIS I remember when the Cardinals actually had Black players before Tony LaRussa ran them all off! This game is fun!!! Lets do some more! Im so MINNESOTA I remember Thursday nights at Bunkers for The New Congress!!! Im so ST. LOUIS I remember Friday nights in the Central West End with THOUSANDS of upscale urban teens and 20-somethings (and about 12 knuckleheads) hanging up and down Euclid Avenue and the late night spot was Herschels (later changed to Harolds) Deli!!! Um ... why is that spot still vacant!!!??? Im so MINNESOTA I remember Cream was the spot!!! Im so ST. LOUIS I remember Forest Park was the spot on Sundays!!! Talk about parking lot pimpin! hahaaaa Im so MINNESOTA I know what its like to have 12 inches of snow on the ground and not one school is closed! Im so ST. LOUIS I know about the Animal House and the Switchblade Sisters, Westside Dog, Southside Posse, Westside Posse and the Thundercats! Speaking of the Thundercats, Im so ST. LOUIS I remember when Laclede Town was actually a nice place to live before they took it over to the point that the city tore it down to give the land to A.G. Edwards. Im so MINNESOTA that Im no longer impressed with the Mall of America and only go there when I have out of town guests. What??? Im not a shopper like that. lol Ive got way more but Ill stop here for now. Wait, one last one ... Im so ST. LOUIS I remember DBs Delight!!!
